Most infrastructure problems aren't technical — they're sizing problems. Over-provision and you're paying for capacity that sits idle. Under-provision and you're one bad afternoon away from an outage. We start by figuring out which one you're actually at risk of, and design around that.

That means an honest look at what you have today — on-prem servers, cloud accounts, a mix of both — and an honest answer about what it needs to become. Sometimes the answer is "leave it alone." Sometimes it's a careful migration. It's rarely "replace everything with whatever's newest."

Redundancy and disaster recovery get the same treatment. A ten-person shop doesn't need a five-nines failover architecture, and a business running mission-critical systems can't get away with a single server and good intentions. We scope resilience to what an outage would actually cost you — not to what sounds impressive in a proposal.

Networking, storage, and virtualization should be invisible when they're working. You shouldn't think about your infrastructure at all most days — you should just notice, quietly, that nothing's on fire.

We're also comfortable working with what's already there. Mixed vendors, aging hardware, a cloud migration that stalled halfway — we'll meet the environment where it is instead of insisting on a clean-slate rebuild.
